Court sets dates to examine LTTE detainees’ complaints

THE Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today set December 5 and 6 to examine two Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam suspects’ complaints of ill treatment by prison authorities.

The complaints were made by B. Subramaniam, 57, who has been charged with supporting the now-defunct terrorist group, and scrap-metal collector A. Kalaimughilan, 28, who faces a charge of possessing LTTE-linked materials. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
