Lucy Smith, five, from Clarehall in north Dublin was diagnosed with terminal cancer in August 2019 after collapsing at home.
They diagnosed Lucy with a rare tumour called DIPG, or diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma and told her devastated parents that she only had months to live.Her parents decided not to proceed with palliative radiotherapy treatment and brought her home to make the most of their time together.
