A kid who beat cancer was treated to the magical trip of a lifetime after enduring a horrendous two years of treatment.
Overjoyed mum, Patricia Ryan, told the Irish Mirror on Monday that her daughter has been to hell and back, but the wizard super fan’s resilience was spell-binding. The brave school girl kicked off the two-day trip in style when she was taken by Garda escort from her home in Raheen, Co Limerick, to Shannon Airport.Patricia said: “She is so excited. If we never went outside the actual country, the garda escort and everything was absolutely fantastic.“We have received a tremendous welcome here at Shannon Airport.”She continued: “All of the tumour was removed during surgery, so she has been cancer free since then.
The trip was organised by Irish charity ‘Share a Dream’ after Patricia wrote a heart-breaking letter to its founder Shay Kinsella.
