Zurani Mohd Darum, 50, who was accompanied by his wife, Roslina Wahab, on the trip, is now at the Ozel Parkhayat Hospital in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey.
Zurani’s son, Muhamad Fiqri, 23, said he had received information about his father’s from his mother.“My mother followed my father in the tour group, and she is telling me that my father is well.Fiqri said his mother had suffered a hip injury. He said, initially, he could not get through to his mother, and that he had to get in touch with his father’s colleagues who were part of the same group travelling in Turkey.“The last time I contacted my father was at 2pm prior to the incident,” he said.
Meanwhile, the wife of another PKNS staff involved in the accident, Shahirulliza Shamsul Ambia, 54, said she received a missed call from her husband at 4.15pm on Wednesday.“I did not notice that my husband contacted me. Since then, I have not been able to contact him.There were 35 Malaysian passengers on board a tour bus when it experienced a mishap en route from Pamukkale to Cappadocia, Turkey.
Selangor State Development Corporation staff Azalan Miswan, 50, died in the incident, while 10 other passengers were injured.
