cbcnewsbc Has to do with pain tolerance. In general women have less of a thresh hold for pain than men due to more nerve receptors in their body. Doctors become complacent after witnessing small issues and overlook serious concerns in women while men generally only see them if it’s bad.

cbcnewsbc Full disclosure, I'm not a woman. But when I go to the doctor I always leave wondering why I bothered. Unless you're bleeding out you're not really a priority. The system is very reactionary.

cbcnewsbc When I was 9 months preggo I said my breasts hurt horrible with lighting pains. I was dismissed. After birth I kept saying they hurt. A nurse, former UK midwife, said they were infected and for a long time. Let's just say I never successfully got to breast feed my only child.

cbcnewsbc Yes, indeed! My family doctor once told me that he didn't 'believe' in Fibromyalgia, like it was the tooth fairy or something.

cbcnewsbc this is so true... and the older a woman gets.. the worse this phenomenon gets.

cbcnewsbc Undoubtedly it only makes money when it's a major disease or a chronic condition, If it's treated early there's chance of recovery.
