Convicted killer executed in Missouri, despite concerns that his rare medical condition would cause a gruesome lethal injection. He showed no outward signs of distress.

Human rights groups and death penalty opponents, including all four Roman Catholic bishops in Missouri and the American Civil Liberties Union, urged Parson to grant clemency and remand Bucklew to life in prison without parole. The ACLU and Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty presented the governor’s office on Thursday with petitions that they said included more than 57,000 signatures.

Bucklew’s girlfriend, Stephanie Ray, left him on Valentine’s Day 1996. Over the next few weeks, according to court records, he harassed her, cut her with a knife and punched her in the face. Bucklew then shot at Sanders’ 6-year-old son and missed. Court records say he struck Ray in the face with the pistol, handcuffed her and dragged her to his car. He later raped Ray before heading north on Interstate 55.

He’s going to die anyway. I don’t see the concern.

One less to feed.

I wonder how many babies are killed in a day

Not sure why this I'd news.

He deserved it... Good job Missouri! Hope it was a gruesome painful death

Why are you more worried about the criminal than the victims? Do you know what he did?

every day we hear how deadly fentanyl is, and yet no one uses it for execution? why?

Wonder how his victim suffered while being murdered?🤔🤔🤔🤔

Bring back the fucking gallows!

*Heartwarming

All this time, money and effort to make putting a person to death humane. Insanity. Just don’t do it. It’s stupid. It serves no purpose and wastes resources, while giving the state an authority it should not possess given the inequities that permeates the judicial system.

Poor victims died 20 years ago

The killer got what he deserved. He was found guilty and sentenced to death by a jury of his peers. The prison system legally carried out the sentence. if more murderers were sentenced to death these sentences would reduce cases across the US & save taxpayer money.

he’s in a better place now

HE SHOWS NO OUTWARD SIGNS OF DISTRESS BECAUSE THEY USE A PARALYTIC

Wonder if his victims were given the same courtesy

What a disingenuous way to frame it. Of course he showed no signs of it, one of the drugs in the lethal injection is a paralytic. Doesn't mean he didn't suffer.

I'll take things regular folks don't give 2 shits about for $200

I do not care if a murderer was distressed. The victim of the murder was more distressed.

We need to eliminate the death penalty, with all the wrongly convicted people that have been cleared many years later, how can anyone agree with the execution of anyone, think about all the people who have been executed, that were innocent, don't say there haven't been any. Don't

Great.

I care why? God forbid one of your loved ones...jesus christ.

So?

✌️

Good riddance!

And he cared about his victim(s)? Fuck ‘em.

Good

And our governor is “pro-life”. GovParsonMO

Why don’t we show pictures of the victim instead of the killer? His victims were not afforded the same kindness and care he was. That’s the real story.

How disappointing

Barbaric

Trump will call him a good man.

Yet BTK is still alive 🖕

Oh poor baby

So exactly what was the ' Painless ' way he killed his victim ?

how tragic

The death penalty seems to be a real deterrent down there....

MurderSmall you covered this in ep 109!

The inhumanity in these comments is shameful

See ya!

That is what the drug to paralyze is for, so you can't know if it was painful.

One less evil.

He won’t have to worry about his condition for long.

I don’t think a post execution lethal infection is a thing.

Well, I feel so relieved. NOT

Just shows that all these concerns by his attorney was nothing more than a stall tactic!

'No outward signs of distress.' What a relief for the witnesses. AntiPTSD

Oh well that’s good sure it was fine

Well bless his heart🙄, glad the murderer had no signs of distress 🖕🏼

A terrible loss to society I'm sure.

One of the drugs used in execusions is soley for the purpose of making it less distressful ONLY for the people WATCHING and only them. The executed dont always die right away and we have no way of knowing they arent being tortured. A bullet would literally be more humane.

Hopefully he suffered at least a little bit...

Sorry. Shouldn't have put himself in this position.

Hold my beer while I euthanize this fella...

I don't support the death penalty but I can't say I cared if he suffered. He deserved what he got.

More of these please

Slow. Fucking. Clap.

Is this in N. Korea?

Who gives a fuck

He has been on death row since 1996. Unbelievable.

Did his victim(s) show any outward signs of distress?
