Medical schools should be teaching health impact of food nutrition of which is solely lacking.
It goes without saying that climate change is a fact—it’s like spending a day pondering over the fact that water’s wet. There are many other pressing issues that are poorly covered in medical schools, like nutrition, psychology, and mental health. These issues deserve priority.
Every doctor I ever worked for as a nurse had NO clue about running their business or how to administer insurance claims. That might be a better class to teach than one that does nothing.
If we'll all be dead in a year or so, why bother?
