Health Minister confident in NHI eNCA

A 200-page report shows outreach teams didn’t even meet their target of improving care for infants and pregnant women due to a lack of paediatricians and gynaecologists.

“We can still do a lot even in the absence of the number of specialists that have been reported,” Mkhize said.

🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣 That thing has long failed. Anyway, in the mean time we will wake up and present ourselves to our work stations for our poor people...

They must start with nurses and doctors in those fecilities because they are not working to be at work it's like a holiday to them

Even I am confident about NHI. Only, I am not the one who has to implement it, finance it and then ensure it benefits the very people we intend for it to benefit.

The moron utters more hot air.....stop lying. There is no way NHI will succeed within the current infrastructure that the ANC government spectacularly ruined.

We're all going to die.

impermeability playing a pivotal role in the process.

HealthZA I'm a bit confused though about how NHI will benefit the havenot cause I have a medical aid with good standing but I was expected to part with R3200 upfront to consult a physician for a pre opp. Where will the poor get money to pay upfront?

Yes I'm sure you're 'confident' in the inept ANC as well? Country falling apart, unemployment at an all time high, all SOEs failing & countless investigations & commissions into the ANC.

Commies love 'free' stuff..

In this women's month we men, should support our women in the struggles they face including in health sector. Pancho Hajane

This is like watching a train crash, that we will have to pay for. First change laws. All government ministers and their families may only use state hospitals, schools and transport.

This NHI HEIST is NOT happening !!! It is theft as we already pay for National Health and must now pay again? The Hispitals dint care they think Gov will pay them? When are people going to realize that Communism does NOT work !!!?

The minister is the only one who is confident...nobody else...!!

Glad the Minister is confident about NHI because as the current Public Healthcare System stands at presents it is in a shocking State of repair & hardly oozes confidence in me. All the other SOEs are bankrupt & begging for bailouts where is NHI finance from

His happy but go to London for medicals ne?

Health minister needs a brain scan

The ANCGovt's way of digging themselves out of disastrous situations which they THEMSELVES are responsible for, is simply to use MORE of our taxes to come up with yet another foolish & extravagant scheme: It just buys them more time (at our expense), to avoid accountability!

NHI: Well, the ANC & its CrookedCadres have looted millions, while dysfunctional SOEs have wasted billions, so the ANCGovt obviously thinks our taxes are a bottomless pit for them to merely dip into, to fund their hopeless schemes!

But the ANCGovt can't even use SATaxpayers money RIGHT NOW, to fix the PublicHealthSystem we've got, but they want to use billions we DON'T HAVE to establish an entirely new system! How does that make ANY sense?!

OK, so that makes 2 of them. The rest can clearly see how SOEs are failing, this will be no different.

🆗. Is the all Anc leaders willing to sign a memorandum that when NHi is implemented that they & their families will not go outside the SA borders for medical treatment.

This NHI is just another bottomless pit that sticky hands can get into to line their own pockets! Our government can't even run their own SOCs properly, what to say about a health insurance scheme, once again funded by the overburdened tax payer! I vote NO!

Let all the politicians go over first. They need to use govt hospitals only for all treatments. No private Doctors. For three years thereafter if they still confident we can include all ANC members.

Of course he is. He’s never read the report cautioning the government against implementing this.....the public healthcare in in complete disarray! He’s never had to use the services......more like adding water in leaking bucket

It still won’t work as everything else is breaking....

Just few days ago Zola Clinic told a patient they don't have medication, and they gave him Asthma spray bought from Clicks

Introducing the NHI will force an additional 6million people to use public sector. 🤷‍♂️

It would be nice if these incompetent jerks can tell the country how much NHI will cost & how they're going to implement it properly while they can't even maintain our current hospitals.

How when public health sector is already in shambles?

56 million SA's are not
