Barbara Windsor calls on PM to tackle UK's dementia funding crisis

Dame Barbara Windsor has called on Boris Johnson to ease the dementia care funding crisis to better support the growing number of people being diagnosed with the condition.

Just think, if we'd never had a referendum, dementia funding & social care reform may have been reviewed & implemented by now. Domestic policy and public services are the real casualties of a contentious Brexit - affecting us all & our communities in our everyday lives. Tragic.

Does it have the potential to put money in Boris’ pocket? No! Then he is not interested. Self interest only rules, OK!!!

Nope, the Tories would have reformed dementia care by now if they wanted to. The reason they don't want to is due to the cost and an ideology that families aren't doing enough to care. One is from fiscal conservatism the other social conservatism, twin planks of Trump Toryism

And where will that £2.4bn go? Straight into the hands of Johnson's donor's pockets. Much of the NHS is NOT now the NHS. Private companies siphon off the money under the guise of 'health care'. The Guardian are now a Tory mouthpiece so don't look for the truth here.

Why is EVERYTHING a funding crisis... if we paid every needy cause what they were asking for we'd all be paying over 100% tax.
