Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said on Monday that he was set to update the President in Monday’s Cabinet meeting on the dengue situation in the country as well as the issues and recommendations on the use of Dengvaxia. He noted that one of his recommendations was to seek the opinion of the Philippine General Hospital-Dengue Investigative Task Force, which looked into the cases of those who were inoculated with Dengvaxia.
“We want to know their opinion on reintroducing [Dengvaxia] to the market and what are the possible changes in the protocols and guidelines,” Duque said over radio dzBB.
jovicyeeINQ Ayan ha malinaw pagkakasabi Atty. Acosta 'consensus among experts' daw, with all due respect hindi ho kayo kasali rito
jovicyeeINQ Yeah.... Let the experts explain Dengvaxia.. NOT ACOSTA!!!
jovicyeeINQ at sino naman expert tinutukoy mo, pinuno nyo.. 😏
jovicyeeINQ One big concern is the screening test.
jovicyeeINQ your right sir, there could be others out there, who knows, not me, you or loquacious pundits. It became 'household' due the dengvaxiagate scandal overshadowing what kind of animal this med if really a med is all about.
jovicyeeINQ I am no expert sir but I think 2 weeks is too long with the current rise of dengue. My question would be, is dengvaxia the only known vaccine for dengue? Cause if there are others why are you still pushing for dengvaxia. Use a vaccine with good credibility that has been tested.
jovicyeeINQ issue about dengvaxia fast becoming natl consciousness version of “bayang magiliw”. Remember Mcbeth, “to be or not to be”... i advocated “experts” alone and only, make public unbiased, uncommercialized and apolitical research be made public, if any🧐😉🧐
