It seems to me that when a guy who, on his own initiative, gets a weapon for mass shooting and travels hundred of miles to shoot innocent people of a specific group, he is both mentally deranged as well as politically motivated by his hatred of that group. He can't be sane.

I would have to disagree I think something is mentally wrong with someone who hates people because of skin color, religion,politics, or world view. It could be how they are raised, or how susceptible they are to manipulation but it definitely as to do with the mind.
I can agree in some circumstance, but I still think there’s something hidden behind these people. I’m not a Dr. so I probably don’t know what I’m talking about. Which ever the reason, It’s sad all the way around. It’s just hard not to believe there’s mental issues involved.
