Newspaper headlines: 'Too late' to stop no deal and menopause 'halted'

The new government's Brexit strategy features on many of the front pages. The Sunday Telegraph says that MPs have been told it is"too late" to stop the UK leaving the EU without a deal on 31 October. The paper says Dominic Cummings, the prime minister's aide, has briefed MPs that the opposition has missed the chance to force an election before the deadline. If the UK does leave the EU without a deal, the government fears"chaos" in schools, according to the Observer.

Doctors have created a"revolutionary procedure" which can delay the menopause by up to 20 years, reports the Sunday Times. The surgery - which is said to take as little as 30 minutes - could prevent serious health problems associated with menopause, such as osteoporosis and heart problems, the paper says. It also reports Prime Minister Boris Johnson is preparing an extra £2bn for the NHS to"woo female voters".

But the real issue is can we dump tv licence.

Civil service strike maybe

Cummings elected by nobody Johnson elected by 100000 in a country of 63 million forcing a hard Brexit. This is worse than Xi Putin or Hong Kong. It’s a coup. Its illegitimate. People get in the streets demonstrate with the energy of the Hong Kong activists. Stop it. Protest. BIG.

Brexiteers moan about unelected EU bureaucrats!! Ironically, they now have the unelected Machiavelli Cummings at the heart of the British Cabinet manipulating the out of depth Johnson to achieve his right wing agenda!

What worries me is that an unelected advisor seems to have so much influence.

Load of crap no it’s not

So the man found in contempt of parliament makes all of the rules now. Desperate times with desperate people' at the helm'

Wonderful! Once Brexit is delivered this country can get back to normal

Is this the bit in the movie where the evil mastermind expounds on the exquisite details of his dastardly plan and inevitable victory to the apparently helpless hero, while laughing maniacally?

Too late to stop No Deal: and when did Fuhrer Cummings get to dictate to the rest of us? Anyone got a spare lamp post for new Mussolini and his sidekick?

It's a headline from the daily Borisgraph. What else would this crooked publication say.

Expect nothing else from the Torygraph.

After all the biased reporting from the BBC, it seems lorry loads of hankies will be required for the snowflakes. DEMOCRACY thankfully prevails.

Thwarting democracy and destroying the nation in the name of democracy

Sounds like a recipe for the break-up of the U.K. and civil war

😂 😂 😂 The Buffoonery will be stopped.

Is Boris in his menopause? 😅😅😅😅😅😅

Yea right oh BBC , don’t expect any licence money if that’s the case , you’re days are numbered hopefully

The people who voted for it are more likely to be adversely affected by it. Think back to the 1970s miners, car workers, ship builders and steel workers striking for better pay and conditions!

The amount of people who still want Brexit is now significantly below 17.2 million. The vote on the final deal or no deal will show this.

Was Buffoon Boris lying then or now

is autocorrect responsible for the word menopause appearing in this sentence because it doesn’t really seem to fit

Fingers crossed

“I did it thirty-five minutes ago.”

The ballot paper had remain or leave on it, nothing about a deal, honour the result and leave.

🤪

Given that Johnson and his advisers are hell bent on it no matter what, the most important plans for Scotland and the north of Ireland is to get out of the Disunited Kingdom asap and let England and Wales have the brexit they voted for.

Are they mutually exclusive?

Great juxtaposition!

He's not entirely accurate... but it is true that if there is a vote of no confidence and then a general election is forced, then Johnson could schedule that election in November after a no deal brexit. However there is opportunity for a different administration to be formed

It's never too late, period! jeremycorbyn joswinson
