The kids are unable to have friends over, and say they're "pretty much stuck" in the lounge room 24/7. Ms Hassan said she had been writing to the public housing department about the issues since 2016, "begging" them for a new residence. Meanwhile, she said, the children had been suffering a lot of respiratory tract infections, meaning they are now constantly using ventolin puffers, flexitide and prednisone.
