The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines - Episcopal Commission on Health Care called on the faithful to support the Department of Health’s 4S campaign amid the rising incidence of dengue in the country.

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines – Episcopal Commission on Health Care called on the faithful to support the Department of Health’s 4S campaign amid the rising incidence of dengue in the country.Rev. Fr. Dan Cancino, executive secretary of the commission said, the observance of the 4S campaign against dengue by the faithful in all parishes can help in the prevention of the life-threatening illness caused by mosquitoes.

“The Church continues to help spread awareness and educate the public on preventive measures. We invite all parishes to take the lead in cleaning their surroundings beginning within the parish premises. Let us also urge people in our communities starting with the BEC structures to make cleaning a regular habit,” the priest added.
