Zhebin Cong, 47, disappeared from the facility, located in downtown Toronto’s west end near Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue, on July 3 and boarded an international flight that same day.
The documents also stated that Cong expressed a desire to return to China. But, the Toronto Police Service said in a statement issued on Wednesday evening that Cong was a “low risk to public safety.” “There are certain things that are a no-brainer. I could ask a 10-year-old kid should you let this guy loose on the street after he chopped up his roommate and a 10-year-old kid would say ‘absolutely not.’”Ford went on to say he “would not want to have lunch beside this guy.”
“I need an answer off Toronto Police Service, I need an answer off CAMH and we need an answer off the Ontario Review Board and we are going to get answers, I can assure you.”
And so he should!

Maybe fords hiding him in his basement and told the guy there can only be one nutjob and your not it right now so get down those stairs and be quiet.

I fail to see the problem if he has fled the country, now if he were returning to Canada that would be a whole different issue!
For once I agree with Doug. Canada is safer with that guy not in it.

fordnation brings up good points. Public right to be concerned over patient's history and reasons why no oversight of the day pass. What is CTV's agenda of this post other than to slander Ford.
He had his human rights revoked by ppl who wanted to control every aspect of his life including his body chemistry and opinions. Sick or not i dont blame the guy for running.
I think the bigger story here is that a man who is dangerous to society was given unaccompanied passes. AND was able to get on a plane. I feel for those who were harmed by this person and the potential victims wherever he lands.

Why don't we know where he went? Shouldnt the innocent people in that location be made aware of this menace? Why are our public servants suppressing information? Rob Ford just used common vernacular who cares CTV snowflakes?

Good. He is right to demand answers. This isn't the first time that someone has simply walked away and Toronto CAMH should be held accountable.
