Lorraine Walsh says the 221+ support group for those affected by the CervicalCheck crisis has heard nothing from the Government on a promised apology |

Patient advocates Lorraine Walsh and Stephen Teap from the 221+ support group, who are on the committee, are in attendance.

She said she had been in contact with the Minister for Health and he said that he was in touch with Mr Varadkar, who would then be in contact, but this had not occurred. The 221+ patient advocates want to know why officials did not raise the development at that 26 June steering group meeting. However, Mr Teap said he took no comfort from the Taoiseach's comments that the HSE should have told him and Ms Walsh earlier about the IT problem.
