The race along the 930-yard cobbled-street course to the bullring lasted just over 2 minutes, the fastest so far this year.
Gorings were eliminated in this year's bull run because a cheeky, but sneaky group of pacifists stole into the night and broke into the bull pens in order to place cork bottle stoppers on the tips of the bulls' sharp horns. The show of humanitarian aid left the bulls 'unamused.'

Would someone kindly remind us WHAT the purpose of this is? I'm sure it has some historical significance in Spanish history, but it sounds really stupid in modern times..
Stupidity at its best. They are lucky im not a Bull going after them.
Personally I prefer a painless death, preferably in my sleep.
