Brianna Rader wants to help you have better sex. Her app, Juicebox, enables anonymous users of all gender and sexual identities to receive text-based sexual wellness tips as well as personalized one-on-one coaching.
Juicebox sends custom advice to users based on their gender, sexuality, age, and relationship status. Rader has ensured the app is inclusive of all kinds of sex, and she believes her own queer identity has contributed to making it more comprehensive. For example, users mark their genders and sexualities on a sliding scale, rather than checking a specific box or label.
While she often has to strategize about which pieces of herself to reveal to investors, she knows her differences ultimately make her stronger. “It’s important to embrace who you are and embrace your differences as a strength because it can help you see things others wouldn’t see.”
