A BRITISH holidaymaker who tried to make a Magaluf hotel foot the bill for his medical costs by claiming he 'slipped by pool' has been caught on video leaping from a balcony.
The paper also said the man tried to claim he had suffered an accident in the swimming pool in a fraudulent bid to get his hotel to pay his £33,000 hospital bill.Hotel bosses reportedly contacted insurers after the young man claimed he sustained his injuries when he slipped by the pool. The footage shows the tourist crouching down on a landing over stairs before jumping into the abyss and aiming for the small tree below him.
