Police recorded a statement from Haziq Aziz last night and he was taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital this morning for a medical examination, says lawyer Ramesh Sivakumar.

Lawyers Sivahnanthan Ragava , Ramesh Sivakumar and Afiqah Abdul Latiff at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital this morning to meet Haziq Aziz.

The lawyer said police recorded a statement from Haziq last night and he was brought to the hospital today. Police must obtain a remand order from a magistrate should investigations need to be extended beyond 24 hours.
