PETALING JAYA: Former MIC president Dr S Subramaniam has added to criticism of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s refusal to hand over preacher Dr Zakir Naik to Indian authorities.
“Should we start this game of judging the judicial systems of foreign countries according to our own convenience and political choices?” the former health minster asked in a Facebook post.Subramaniam also reminded the prime minister that India is home to the third largest Muslim population in the world.
How can you ensure think Rule of Law will help Dr Zakr.Looking at Indian politics and social system I doubt Dr Zakir eill recieve a fair and transparent trial.
