NHS cash handouts being spent on 'treats' rather than healthcare

The average Personal Health Budget is estimated to be £18,000 per person

But a Sun probe found some sick Brits last year spent the cash intended on boosting health on horse-riding lessons, drama classes, satellite TV subscriptions and spa treatments. Much of the cash is spent on traditional therapies, home support and specialised equipment. But there is also scope for patients to buy alternative treatments, activities and even mood-boosting treats.

Our investigation reveals the cash has been used to buy boxing classes, gym memberships and rock choir membership in the past year.

Call me old fashioned, but why the F*ck is the NHS handing out money? Tablets, sick notes, splints, etc I can understand but handing out money when they're bankrupt MUST STOP! Exactly who authorised this policy. They should be sacked for gross incompetence!

Why the fuck is the NHS handing out cash, they wonder why we are so broke. Stupidity and a mockery

Remainers' court case to prosecute Brexiteers over £350m NHS claims underwayA HEARING has got underway to determine whether Boris Johnson should be summoned to court to face a crowd-funded private prosecution over claims made by the MP and Tory Party leadership contender regarding the National Health Service (NHS) funding during the 2016 EU referendum. What a complete waste of time and money ( yes more money!). Get a life for goodness sake, and step away from the blame culture that seems have crossed the Atlantic, where the blame culture is rife? The presiding judge needs to think whether Theresa May, the incumbent Cabinet , Conservative & Labour MPs who ran under their party's manifesto could be prosecuted too. Money to burn?

Here's a simple cure for the ailing NHS, says FREDERICK FORSYTHIF THIS country has any divine presence it is surely the National Health Service. Long elevated to the eminence of a national deity, it cannot be criticised and the only permissible response by anyone dependent on the public vote to its interminable problems is 'More money'. Meaning taxpayer money. So Bevan created the NHS as a short term fix, which would eventually be only available to the very poor. Evidence please Mr Forsyth. NHS UKLabour
