Jordan Talley is a 25-year-old photographer and mother of two from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Last month she gave birth to her youngest daughter, Lucy Eleanor.Talley and her husband welcomed their second baby girl into the world April 9.
But the pain continued after the family returned home from the hospital with the baby."I thought I was just being a wimp and it would go away...but it didn't," Talley said. "We kept trying to breastfeed because there are so many health benefits and I wasn't able to with my first child so that's something we really wanted to do," she said. Lucy still appeared to be nursing all the time and even gained a little weight after two weeks, Talley said.
My midwife noticed my baby's tongue tie immediately. We got brilliant care from the NHS!
This happened to my niece. Sis knew something was wrong but Midwives / Health Visitors were just like 'you're not trying' Baby ended up bottle-fed as she wasnt thriving / gaining weight and they just wouldnt listen. Finally diagnosed her at age 5 when it caused speech probs 🙄
i was even tinier. born 3 lbs 9 oz, went down to 3 lbs 3 oz. left at minimum of 4 lbs 8 oz. i should mention that i was 2 months premature & my mom couldn’t breastfeed as it was too painful. i was in the nicu for a month. can’t imagine not going home w my baby after birth.
