John Moorlach , who said it would add to the cost of doing business in California and should be addressed nationally to avoid differing rules by state.

How about doing something about the massive homeless problem in your idiotic state... 🤨

The California Nanny State never ceases to amaze me. These legislators obviously have way too much time on their hands.

👍 People drink colas in quantities that destroy their liver, pancreas, teeth. Call it cynical, but the warning may be an attempt to shield the producers of colas from lawsuit damages imposed by the courts. Tax colas and reduce restaurant taxes. A fair swap.

What about a warning on the glasses in restaurants, on the soda dispensers in fast food chains? Pretty soon the nanny state will be covered in warnings 😂😂😂 Sounds a little like fascism. WalkAwayFromDemocratsForever

In other words ...more taxes

Mr Monning grew up in Cali graduated Berkeley indoctrination & became an attorney. Along the line learned if you make virtue laws based on feelings you create plateaus your colleagues adore at dinner parties. It’s the District residents & 10% voter turnout we should be mad about.

Worked so well for cigarettes and how about those Prop 65 warnings? They are on EVERYTHING including coffee..everyone just ignores them now.

Los mismos gringos dicen que la Coca Cola es perjudicial para la salud.

Government controls people. California never been, never going.

They let people shoot up heroin on the streets, but be careful when you drink a Coke.

Labels did such a great job with cigarettes!

How stupid are these nanny state liberals? Warning labels stopped smoking right? Let’s put warning labels on the public water supply too.

This is ridiculous. They need to tax for diabetes

Cali lawmakers fiddling with soda while state skips into financial abyss.

ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT SODA IS NOT AS HEALTHY AS GREEN BEANS? Wise to have labels on sugar in a state like Californiststan where people poop on the sidewalk.

Only if they do the same to the coffee based drinks served that have 2-4x the sugar of said soda. What no labels for Starbucks? This is elitist nonsense singling out one type of drink.

Ill take a hard pass on all these bills and regulations. They end up being extra taxes and fees. If people wanna drink soda just them drink it.

Oh look ma Fascism!

Showing lung cancer on cigarette boxes doesn't work so what makes them think this is? Don't they have better things to spend that money on?

We don’t even have Cherry or Vanilla Coke widely available in Canada, and time is being wasted over labels? 😒 Everything in moderation, even soda!

So stupid.

There are labels on every McDonalds that say the place causes cancer.

There's tents filled with homeless people all over my street

Yum. i want a coke now.

Waste of time and energy. In an age where we have information at our fingertips, imagine the hubris of the politician who thinks we need government to tell us “sodas are bad”.

They can’t fix a freeway to save their lives, but hey they got time for this 💩

Idiots. They don't have real things to worry about? They are going to regulate California to death. Here is a syringe to inject heroin into your body and the police won't arrest you but God help you of you're caught drinking a Coke out of a straw.

Of all the things the CA legislature could spend time on they pick 'sodas are bad for you'

How about addressing the illegal alien and homeless problems. What's wrong with these people trying to dictate my personal choices all of the time.

😯

Will it be in spanish?
