William also spoke of how working as an air ambulance pilot left him feeling that death was"just around the door".
traceysmith6919 Losing a person you adore is untalkable the pain is like no other My Mum I don't think I ve ever not missed her Then my big son died so young The only idea that helps me is that he and my Mum adored each other Stephen was my gift to my lovely Mum I know they are together waiting
CruseCare Really well said and thank you Will.
One of the most Powerful videos, campaign and issues in our life. Real, True , relevant. Everyone needs an opportunity to see this, embrace what it means and change something. empathy
Princess Diana raised two awesome sons. ♥️
CruseCare Thank goodness people are talking about bereavement. It’s utterly devastating & completely changes lives & we’re expected to “get on with life” or “learn to live with it”....for some this is easier said than done. Fantastic work please continue it xx
CruseCare I can totally relate to what William is saying, people, even people close to you feel awkward about talking about the person you have lost so the end result is, you don’t as you would not want to make them feel embarrassed, but it really shouldn’t be like that as death is a fact
This is soo great! 👏👏
Real, honest and from the heart. It is like a breath of fresh air to know you're not alone 🙏

Well Done to William and all the fantastic Men involved in this talk. It was a powerful programme. It will inspire and help a lot of Men to talk to someone if feeling low and help us all to watch for signs, to be there to listen and care give our extra time.
William is a beautiful and strong Man. His honesty and genuine compassion so clear in this really important talk on Mental issues. When he spoke about relating to people, suffering pain, He truly is His beautiful Mother's Son. A King of Hearts x
That's why Ellebaek under prison and probation in Denmark where experiments in human brain are secretly done using poisonous chemical and gaseous substances should be shut and all involved jailed.I am aikhoje Moses a French-American a victim
Paparazzi is equal to what some public employees write in journal of the citizen or want to decide the definition of the citizen. The police has the Judge above. The Judge has someone else above. The lack of legal safety for the citizen,is the cause of mental pain. Responsible?
What a dear. Diana would be very, very proud. ❤️
Diana would be so proud of her boys xx
Amazing...the industry&news haven´t yet published(actually they already did but abroad,as soon as they´ve heard Windsors) some article brainwashing t society about how mental trouble is something one is born with&only BigPharma is the saviour to cure the lack of legal certainty.
This is wonderful. I lost my mum at 15. The experience changes you forever.
Well done on all concerned for broadcasting such open discussion on the challenges of bereavement. mentalhealthawarenessweek2019
Lovely speech 🌷🌷
Brilliant ... 🙏❤️
I hope this really helps with the epidemic of men committing suicide in the UK. 🙏 I cannot imagine the enormous pressure men have to go through too. I just wish they knew they didn't have to always be strong.
What a great man! ❤️
And what he's doing for mental health in the UK is a prime example of his mother's altruistic and selfless legacy keepingthemhonest gothere AutismSpeaks metoo (for Diana)
BBCWorld I can relate to his hurt. And the feeling of loosing a mother...I now respect him even more!!
BBCWorld On point sincere talk about Bereavement from Prince William who suffered at a young age..bereavement
Oh kind of true, YOU sometime CAN see it in their eyes. 💔
Rich or Poor, does not matter, everyone of us goes through issues... what a troll BK
BBCWorld Amen to that! It was one of those kind of things that you remember what you doing when you heard the news. 'Princess Diana Dead in Paris' Princess Di was Queen of hearts in the US. I wondered that the Prince's was so stoic? Some trauma you live with but you can still be happy.
I only hope that you NEVER experience ANYTHING so awful again ever.
A bit who was really behind it?
Top bloke!
Losing someone is never easy😇
Cuttla million quid free would do the trick for me but what do I know
KateetWilliamFr Cheers to Prince William. He’ll make a great King.
He dropped it.
BBCWorld Time for Prince William to make a choice - Hair plugs or Buzz cut
I will always be with you and Harry
BBCWorld He’d be a great PM if he wasn’t going to be King.
BBCWorld Excellently therapeutic!
lfajridw ini loh salah satu kampanye heads_together
BBCWorld This is so huge for a male public figure - particularly a royal - to discuss openly.
Very intelligent man. Great insights and message. I love you dude.
Rich spoiled brat thinks there are affordable soccer teams everywhere, forgets the macho racism of the playing field of many schools or that many loath the game
Saw a rare thing for the BBC, an article on mens issues a few days ago. My first thought was BBC stereotyping again, all men must like football right? I've suffered from MH issues a long time & I couldn't care less what a bunch of sickeningly overpaid guys kicking a ball think.
jackolinemartin Spot on. 👍👏👏👏👏
BBCWorld ❤️
I could think of one!! Being forced at 11 to take your clothes off before being raped! That hurt, was painful & lived with me all my life! I'd say that is a lot worse pain! Smart people, your not that bright oneuppers everything that happens to people is different! RT_com
don't overthink it ...how to do ...think about nothing ...you are now free ...
BBCWorld Madonna Childhood experience Lyrics, Never forget her eyes, face, hand, kiss, voice, everything,,,, Madonna has PTSDispeer or Trauma, Prince William same Heart or not? 10DowningStreet
TY William!! ❤️
People grieve death; a prince can’t say much about struggle or pain that the majority of people don’t already know. He’s not a role model to the masses. The reality is that celebrities shape culture more than royalty. I understand why royals need to stay relevant. But na
Sadly, Bereavement in USA is now considered a ‘depression disorder’ that requires pharmaceutical drugging. Kid in Florida was grieving the loss of his mum; they Rx drugged him w mental pills having psychotic suicide effects; 3 months later he massacred 17 friends at Parkland 😢
If we didn’t have a monarchy, we’d have more money for mental health. 🤷🏻♂️
You should allow Diana to rest in peace
He will make a great King when his time comes.
It's okay for people to bring awareness, but what is needed is the way CMHT is run & who runs them! They're mismanaged & a lot of patients suffer in silence at the homes alone because the CMHT despite getting mobiles & laptops etc SkyNews itsallaboutthestaff
Ahh, poor little rich boy. How about giving airtime to folks in real distress from vindictive Selfservative Universal_Crédit?
BBCWorld Ooh! i'm so emotional 😒😒😒
Everyone in that room could afford their own help!!!
