The Chairman, Senate Committee on Health, Senator Lanre Tejuoso disclosed that the National Assembly had appropriated funds for the establishment of Catastrophic Health Fund in the 2019 budget, which was recently passed by the legislature.

Tejuoso said the Catastrophic Health Fund aims at financing the top three types cancers in Nigeria—breast, prostate and cervix.The Senator who represents Ogun Central Senatorial District, disclosed this at the free medical fair held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
