Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the government has been working to reduce wait times with the Department of Veteran Affairs, investing significant funds in the Veterans Centric Reform.

Answering an audience question as part of the Sky News/Courier-Mail People’s Forum, the PM said that ensuring veterans receive free mental health care, have clear employment pathways and tailoring services to specific needs is important to improve care of returned servicepeople. The PM said that working with the veteran community is how to achieve improvements in these areas, as they understand what they need more than anyone.
