Now, researchers at the University of Manchester say urine testing would be another option.
"Campaigns to encourage women to attend cervical screening have helped. The brilliant campaign by the late Jade Goody increased numbers attendance by around 400,000 women. She said larger trials of the urine test were still needed before it could be recommended to the NHS. "For women living with the impact of FGM [female genital mutilation] or those who have suffered sexual abuse or live with conditions such as vaginismus, screening in a non-invasive way could be game-changing for screening uptake.
A smear is slightly uncomfortable, if girls are scared of that then heaven help them if they ever have kids! 😂🙄👶👶
Don't just say 'anxious or embarrassed' like it's just a silly little thing to get over. For a few its traumatic and/or painful.

Good
That's a good idea, for those women who have a serious risk. Women with little or no risk should really just live their lives. All the fearmongering is silly. Most women will never get cervical cancer.
Now there just taking the piss...
