The World Health Organisation has released new guidelines recommending babies be banned from screen time with no more than an hour-a-day access for children aged two to four years old.

The United Nations agency believes excessive screen time poses a risk for developing brains. Family Digital Literacy Specialist, Dr Joanne Orlando says around 85 per cent of two-year-olds are online each day with research indicating that continuous screen access for babies can drastically slow or hinder crucial development.
