The concept of twin towers is the thrust of massive projects scheduled to be heard by the Jersey City Planning Board July 9: one near the waterfront and the other next to Jersey City Medical Center.
The building would be constructed on a parking lot just north of the upcoming “Harborside 8,” a 68-story, 680-unit tower that was approved on the same lot in early 2020, and the existing “Harborside 10″ office tower. A spokesperson for Veris declined to comment on the project. “We are most appreciative of the Mayor Fulop, the JCRA, the Jersey City Council and the planning board and for having the vision and diligence to kick start this vital project,” said Vincent Garcia of Grand Jersey Group.
