My son has done up to six vaccinations, including the diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. “If parents introduce solid food to a child after six months starting with the softest and safest food such as porridge, water and bananas before allowing the different food groups to mix, why are vaccines not treated the same way since they contain additives and chemicals?Her son, now aged four, became better after she brought him to see a child therapist, she said.

Dr Noor Hisham said the MMR fear came about after a British doctor, Dr Andrew Wakefield, published an article in The Lancet linking MMR vaccine with autism in 1998 but the journal had retracted it in 2010 after investigations revealed Wakefield had falsified his findings.
“MMR vaccine has been proven to be a safe and effective vaccine. Two shots of the vaccine is required to ensure optimal protection. However, 5% of those who receive two shots of the MMR vaccine may fail to seroconvert,” he said.
