Jamie Foxx reveals new details about his 2023 health scare

In a reportedly new video shared to social media this week, the North Texas native shared some additional information about his extended hospitalization last year.

Now you know by being quiet, sometimes things, you know, get out of hand. People said what I got. Some people said I was blind but as you can see, the eyes are working. The eyes are working just fine. They said I was paralyzed -- I'm not paralyzed. If you see me out from now on and every once in a while I just burst into tears, it's because it's been tough. I was sick. But now I've got my legs under me so you're going to see me out.

He received a standing ovation as he accepted the award and got emotional about the health scare that nearly took his life.
