Mr. Biden will speak with “Good Morning America” anchor George Stephanopoulos for an interview that will air on the Friday edition of “World News Tonight with David Muir.”The full interview will air Sunday on “This Week” and Monday’s episode of “Good Morning America.”The Biden campaign is desperately trying to limit the fallout after his meandering, sometimes incoherent, debate answers raised questions about his mental acuity.

On Tuesday, Rep. Lloyd Doggett, Texas Democrat, became the first elected member of Mr. Biden’s party to call for him to withdraw as the nominee.ABC is slated to hold the second presidential debate between Mr. Biden and former President Trump in September.
