CYBERBULLYING has emerged as a threat affecting over 30 percent of children globally, the World Health Organization said.A video posted by WHO on Facebook on Monday emphasized various forms of online harassment, encompassing hurtful behaviors, including threatening messages, sexual harassment, and spreading rumors or lies, targeting children typically between the ages of 8 and 14.
Meanwhile, the Program for International Student Assessment 2019 said that 65 percent of Filipino students experienced bullying at least occasionally in a month, with 40 percent facing frequent bullying once a week or more.In PISA 2022, one in three Filipino students reported being bullied at school, comprising approximately 43 percent of girls and 53 percent of boys.
