Kota Kinabalu: The State Health Department issued four compound notices and ordered the closure of three food premises in an enforcement operation at Anjung Selera, Likas, on Thursday. Its Director Datuk Dr Asits Sanna said the operation involved 22 Kota Kinabalu Health Office’s Inspectorate Unit enforcement officers.

He said the compound notices were due to failures to ensure premises were clean and food handlers did not possess food handling course certificates or typhoid vaccinations. “The public can contact any nearby District Health Office if they have any concerns regarding food safety issues,” he said.
