The Systems Biology and Translational Medicine Laboratory directed by Akhilesh Pandey, M.D., Ph.D. at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, works on basic and translational sciences with the goal of improving and individualizing medicine. We are looking for a motivated and driven molecular biologist with experience in creating and working with in vitro models of genetic disorders including induced pluripotent stem cells , cell models and organoids.

· Culture and characterize newly generated iPSC lines and differentiate them along various lineages based on needs· Generate organoids from gene-edited cell lines and patient tissues· Write scientific manuscripts and grant proposalsEducation requirements Doctorate degree is required. Demonstrated significant, original, and creative contributions to a research or creative program or project.· Experience with differentiation of iPSCs along various lineages such as neuronal cells, osteoblasts, hematopoietic cells, cardiomyocytes etc.· In depth knowledge and experience with CRISPR screens and analysis· Ability to track and execute multiple projects at once· Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
