A public health warning has been issued after mushroom gummies left at least five people hospitalised across NSW, with some suffering "disturbing hallucinations".
NSW Health has sounded the alarm for Uncle Frog's Mushroom Gummies after several people attended hospitals experiencing unexpected toxicity since April.Teen arrested at NSW museum allegedly found with knives, tactical gearPatients reported symptoms like nausea, seizure-like activity, anxiety, disturbing hallucinations, loss of consciousness, dizziness and a racing heartbeat.
NSW Poisons Information Centre medical director Dr Darren Roberts urged the community not to consume the product. If you have these products, dispose of them safely, away from children and pets to avoid accidental consumption. If people experience the above symptoms or are unwell, please contact the NSW Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26, or if seriously ill call Triple Zero.
