New state funding for Trillium Health will help fight the HIV epidemic by providing housing to low-income people affected by the disease.

Jason Barnecut-Kearns, president and CEO of Trillium Health, speaks on new state funding announced to help low-income people with HIV find affordable housing. $750,000 in state funding was announced Thursday for the nonprofit, allowing the organization to further help those living with HIV find housing.

"With this $750,000, I can bring my people home. When I mean bring them home, I mean bring them home to housing so they can take their medication," Adams said. "Having the stability of housing is a key factor in making sure people stay on their medications and are able to live," said NYS Assemblymember Harry Bronson.
