A series of rehabilitation camps have launched in Perth aimed at reconnecting members of the Stolen Generation with their culture, as well as aiding mental and social well-being.

Indigenous Health Minister Ken Wyatt says the four cultural healing bush camps are important 'in both their life’s journey in having the transmission of culture, but also their health, their social and emotional wellbeing'.

A vacant bush block in metropolitan Perth has been transformed into a special place of healing for indigenous people. The block is positioned directly opposite Sister Kate’s Home, an institution for the stolen generation since the 1930s.
