The 20-year-old man was attacked at around 3am on Saturday on a Blantyre street and later rushed to hospital for treatment. Police have now launched an investigation into the incident.

The 20-year-old man was attacked at around 3am on Saturday on Logan Street in the Lanarkshire town.Police Scotland has now appealed for anyone with information about the incident or who witnessed the assault to come forward to help with their enquiries.
