A MUM-OF-THREE who died on a hen do called her fiance twice asking "for a lift home", her sister has revealed.

Ruth Maguire, 30, a health assistant from Newcastle, Co Down, was part of a large group in Carlingford, Co Louth, when she went missing on Saturday March 16. Her body was found two days later.Ruth had tried to call her partner James Griffin before the tragedy - but contacted his work phone Ruth had been due to marry her partner of 12 years James Griffin in August and she was buried in her wedding dress.

Her older sister, Rachel Wilkinson, has revealed how she had called James twice before she drowned - but contacted his work phone. He only discovered the two missed calls, at 12.06am, when he went back to work - a fortnight after her funeral on March 29.she said: "She had told her friends earlier that night that she wanted to go home and I now know she was ringing Jim in the hope that he would pick her up...but she'd obviously rang his work number instead of his personal phone by accident.
