After months of waiting, Taylor Swift is finally performing on the UK leg of her record-breaking The Eras Tour. As one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, the Lover singer has sold out stadiums across the country, including eight nights at London’s Wembley Stadium – equalling the record set by Take That in 2011.
Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.
While Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania, which she has paid tribute to in her song Christmas Tree Farm, her family later moved closer to Nashville after she secured a record deal when she was 14 years old. Throughout The Era’s Tour so far, Taylor’s doting parents Andrea and Scott – who are known by Swifties as Mama and Papa Swift – have been seen watching on from the crowd as their daughter performs on stage.
She wrote: “Both of my parents have had cancer, and my mom is now fighting her battle with it again. It’s taught me that there are real problems and then there’s everything else. My mom’s cancer is a real problem. I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs.”
