It was more than 3 dozen. Almost 60 providers dispensing 32 million pills. The biggest opioid takedown in U.S. history and nobody cares. People were having teeth pulled to obtain prescriptions. Disturbing, but it’s nothing more than a DOJ press release.
I'm thrilled by this. I know someone who died from an overdose. Her ability to get the drug after a legitimate surgery was outright irresponsible on the part of the prescribing doctor and pharmacist!
There ought to be a law. Or maybe a regulation. Or maybe enforcement. What happened, the local paper busted the pill Mill and politicians finally stepped up?
