Ed Rendell, according to a press release from Mullins’ office, is backing the measure. Rendell also is aa bill that would require insurers to cover biomarker testing, which could help patients with treatment options for and quicker diagnosis of some neurological disorders, such as ALS. The bill unanimously passed a House committee vote last year.
