Fort Bend County Health and Human Services Environmental Health Division’s Mosquito and Vector Control program confirms the first positive West Nile Virus mosquito sample in the county in 2024.

In response to the positive sample, crews will begin evening spray operations in the area where the positive sample was found as well as in surrounding areas.
