), Comrade Kayode, and the chairman of the Trade Union Congress , Comrade Bosun Olabiyi, along with members of the State Executive Council and State Advisory Council , have started enforcing compliance at the Oyo state secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan.
They visited various departments and agencies within the secretariat and mobilised workers to leave their workstations. Upon pleas, the top government functionaries agreed to leave office while instructing other workers to also close shop in compliance with the directives.While it was easy to chase out the workers in some ministries, it was a herculean task in others as some workers even had to lock themselves up in their offices to avoid being chased out.
As at the time of this report, the labour leaders are still going round the various ministries to ensure total compliance with the sit-at-home order.
