Local News– Dozens of community members went to Green Cove Springs Park Saturday afternoon for a special event to support a police officer’s wife who is battling cancer.
“If you can help someone do it. Just please do it. If we don’t help each other, who’s gonna do it?” Wayne said. “The fact that so many people in the community and in the law enforcement field have come together to raise money for Monica is just wonderful,” Cook said. “When one of our family members from one of our law enforcement families are struggling, the community comes together to help support them.”
