A 19-year-old has shared their grief as their father was diagnosed with an untreatable form of cancer shortly before his 51st birthday.
Taking to Reddit to share their story, the teenager shared that whilst they were both lucky enough to survive a crash, things have since taken a turn. The teenager said: "They told him it was treatable, and they got him on chemotherapy immediately. He wasn’t bedridden, and he was able to go on with life fairly normally. A few months ago, the tests showed he was getting better. We all thought it would be over soon."
