Harriett Moore and Esther Mortimer ran more than 150 miles for the challenge between them.

Two sisters have run more than 150 miles between them to raise money for a bowel cancer charity in memory of their mother.

Speaking to BBC Radio H&W on the last day of the challenge, Ms Moore said: "Esther started running very very seriously, she took on the challenge as being a run at least 100 miles in May challenge.Ms Moore, who has raised more than £1,600 for the Bowelbabe Fund, which supports Cancer Research UK, added: "I lost my mother to bowel cancer in December 2014.

"My mother always maintained after her diagnosis that there seemed to be a lot of awareness of other cancers, but that bowel cancer was rarely discussed."
