Waukegan police investigate a fatal head-on crash at Sunset and Kellogg avenues on May 29, 2024. A motorist may have suffered a medical event before his vehicle hit another car head-on Wednesday morning, killing a 4-year-old Zion boy, Waukegan police said Friday.

The accident happened at about 8:15 a.m. on Sunset Avenue, near the intersection with Kellogg Avenue.
